Huffman House Bed & Breakfast - Minden

The breakfast options were good, especially the pecan praline waffle and beignets, a treat we couldn't resist.

While the room was large and comfortable, I found the decor to be more modern than what I personally expected from a historic hotel.

Well-appointed and recently refurbished rooms and nice bathrooms.

The hotel was good old and relaxing, enjoyed garden view from our a double room. We got a room with bathtubs. The location was convenient and gorgeous for exploring this beautiful old area, not far from lovely downtown area, nature and Minden. Also, getting to Minden Historic District was easy and took only 10 minutes on foot.

Large king-size canopy bed with a spacious desk for work. Great shower head with an innovative pump system for body wash and shampoo.

Room decor leaned towards the modern side instead of the anticipated antique style. Had to leave after a great stay, which left a lingering sense of wanting more time there.

I was shocked that the decor was very modern instead of the charming antique vibe I expected. No one offered me warm cookies and milk as I heard guests get, just plain neglect! I almost thought of giving a nice review, but that wouldn't be honest.

The spacious room made for a comfortable stay. Kimberly's warmth and helpfulness in accommodating our daughter were highlights, alongside the delicious breakfast each morning.

the room had tons of outlets for charging devces. would have liked more dining options.

The narrow driveway is a real challenge for larger vehicles!!! Room temperature control could use some attention for individual comfort levels. Limited nearby entertainment options might leave guests feeling a bit isolated!!!

The beautiful and spacious king room featured a comfortable canopy bed and a well-designed desk area. The innovative shower system provided a luxurious experience, while the warm cookies and milk waiting for me in the evening were a good surprise. Breakfast each morning was tailored to my tastes and the pecan praline waffle was a standout dish that I highly recommend.

We had such an enjoyable stay! Our room was large, comfortable, and impressively clean, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, homemade options like pecan praline waffles that were delicious. The gracious hosts, Kimberly and Jim, enhanced the experience with their warm hospitality and extensive knowledge of the local area. My only wish is that we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of this charming place.
